‘Chrome’ – Hot Metal’s #1 Album For 2016
Check Out What This Popular On Line Music Mag Says About “Chrome” As They Rate It Their #1 Album For 2016
In the 1980s, Cold Chisel were considered merely a loud pub rock act. Now they are canonised as great antipodean poets. It’s to be hoped The Screaming Jets will attain the same ascension one day – Paul Woseen’s writing on ‘Chrome‘ is wry, knowing and eloquent. In a year of patchy LPs, ‘Chrome‘ is consistently outstanding across its 11 tracks, offering blues-based hard rock and borderline metal with conscience and heart. Our highlights include “Smack In The Mouth” and “Razor”. “No Place No Home” addresses the growing issue of homelessness, “Sex and Violence” touches on abuse and addiction. The Screaming Jets are a national treasure Australians should treasure more.
‘Cash In Your Ticket’ – A Brand New Video
‘Cash In Your Ticket‘ is the second single to be released from the band’s new 2016 studio album ‘Chrome‘. Now the boys are proud to show off this latest clip that Jets guitarist Scott Kingman laced together right in time for the wind up of the raging success of the latest ‘Go Hard Or Go Chrome‘ tour.
The album began charting right from the first week that it was released in May of this year and while the debut single ‘Automatic Cowboy‘’ was the perfect rocking introduction to the new album this second single ‘Cash In Your Ticket‘ is the consummate complement, offering up a moody bluesy tone often directly connected with the other side of the band’s far reaching repertoire.
The single, and the album, are available for download or you can get yourself a genuine CD copy of ‘Chrome‘ delivered straight to your font door.
